♂ (holotype)

Labanda striatula Holloway sp. n.

♂♂ 11mm, ♀♀ 11, 13mm.

The forewings are black and a rather emerald green as in previous species, but with a distinctly zig-zag antemedial that is bilobed distad posterior to the cell, then is strongly angled within the cell, with a strong, oblique section extending towards the discal spot and another strong but finer zig-zag at the costa.

The postmedial is more finely zig-zag, but can enclose a small whitish dash just distal to the discal spot.

In the male genitalia the costal process of the valve is much longer and more slender, thumb-like, than in herbealis or dentilinea, and the aedeagus vesica has loosely arranged basal and distal rows of slender cornuti.

The female has a rather rounded lamella antevaginalis, but much smaller than in dentilinea. The bursa is rather thick-walled and contains a small cluster of about five closely associated spines.
