♂ (paratype)

Labanda carinata Holloway sp. n.

♂♂ 8mm.

This is the smallest Bornean species.

It has grey forewings with fine longitudinal black and white striae in the costal zone, and a black, lens-shape marginal zone crossed by fine white lines on the veins.

The male genitalia have an ampulla at the saccus apex.

The valves are basally narrow, the short costal process set relatively distally.

The aedeagus vesica contains one major cornutus.

The facies is unique, as is the grey colour apart from possibly the forewings of ceylusalis.
