Diagnosis

The forewings are variegated green and blackish, sometimes with a diffuse white patch distal to the postmedial subdorsally.

The transverse paler green fasciae are rather irregular in course, but variable in this, and tend to be rather diffuse.

The next two species show distinct differences in facies, but do not differ in genitalic characters such as the shape of the costal process of the valve and the ornamentation of the aedeagus vesica.

Their genitalia are therefore not illustrated.

Geographical range

Indo-Australian tropics from India to the Solomons; not known from Australia.

Habitat preference

All material is montane, taken at 1000m and 1790m on G. Mulu, 900m on G. Api and 1620m and 1930m on G. Kinabalu.

The species is uncommon.
