Diagnosis
This is the largest and most distinctive Bornean species, dark brown with a variegated marginal zone and a transverse antemedial fascia.
The stronger, oblique, curved whitish bar of the postmedial near the forewing costa and the dull yellow border of the hindwing are diagnostic.
The ovipositor lobes are unusually acute.
Geographical range
Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Palawan (ZMUC), Sulawesi.
Habitat preference
The species is uncommon but is found from the lowlands to 1200m.
