Geographical range

Borneo, Bali, Sulawesi, Papuan Region to Fiji.

Habitat preference

The holotype, a female, was taken by A.R. Wallace in Sarawak, probably in the lowlands.

Three males have been taken more recently: at Semengok, an area of lowland forest near Kuching; at Poring, 600m, to the west of G. Kinabalu; at 1600m on G. Kinabalu.
