Diplurodes sp. 14218 Holloway

The facies is similar to that of D. sugillata but the forewing border is more uniform dark grey except for a large white patch at the centre of the margin. The posterior two thirds of the hindwing border is only lightly marked, almost white. The ventral margin of the valve is strongly convex, and the saccular process is more tightly coiled than in other species. The extension of the juxtal rod is long, slender. There is a weak pair of coremata between segments 3 and 4.

The specimen is from lowland forest at Labi (30-60m) in Brunei. The species is also known from Sumatra.
