Diplurodes submontana Holloway
Diplurodes submontana Holloway, 1976: 80.
Diagnosis
This is the largest Bornean Diplurodes, differing from the preceding three also in the strongly sinuous nature of the postmedials and the grey shading basal to the medials of both wings. The male genitalia resemble those of the following species in having only a single saccular process, strongly sinuous, apically more darkly sclerotised. This process is longer and more slender than that in D. vestita, where the valve apex is rounded rather than acute.
Geographical Range
Borneo.
Habitat Preference
This is a species characteristic of lower and upper montane zones, currently only known from G. Kinabalu, G. Mulu and the Penrissen Mts. of Sarawak.
