Diagnosis
This and the next species are very similar in facies and are most reliably distinguished on genitalic characters (see illustrations), but roseororatus is distinctly larger, with more diffuse, broader and paler short black striae subapically on the underside of the forewing.
Geographical Range
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat Preference
This is a frequent species that is found in forested and disturbed habitats in the lowlands and more rarely up to about 2000m.
