Diagnosis
See the previous species. The aedeagus vesica lacks the characteristic field of short, irregular spines but has one very long, flexed one, together with a cluster of small ones around its base. The valve has basal and distal saccular processes typical of the genus but lacks the central costal one. Hampson (1900) included B. gloriosa Moore stat. & comb. rev, as a synonym, but the male genitalia (slide 5273) are very different.

Sundaland.
Habitat Preference
The species is uncommon, but found in forested localities from the coast to the lower montane zone at 1000m.
