Diagnosis

The species could be confused with females of crustata, but it has a diagnostic yellow patch discally on the forewing. The hindwing lacks a dark grey border but is paler along the costa except over the marginal third.

Geographical Range

Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia.

Habitat Preference

This is a species of montane forest, recorded from 1050m to 1930m on G. Kinabalu, G. Mulu, Bukit Retak and G. Murud.
