Anuga rotunda Holloway stat. n.
Anuga multiplicans rotunda Holloway, 1976: 17.
Diagnosis
The rounded forewings distinguish this species from kobesi as does the doubled pair of coremata on the male eighth sternite.
In the male genitalia the saccus apex is bulbous.
Taxonomic Notes
The taxon is obviously not a subspecies of multiplicans as the sister-species of the latter has been identified as indigofera, sympatric with rotunda. The rounded forewing and doubled coremata are shared with canescens, suggesting a sister-relationship.
Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
The holotype was taken in a cultivated area at about 1000m on G. Kinabalu, but all other specimens seen have been taken in lowland dipterocarp forest.
