Diagnosis
This and the next species can be distinguished from congeners by the blue-grey or greenish blue-grey ground colour of the forewings and banding of the hindwings.
Separation of the pair is as described for the next species.
Geographical range
Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference
In Brunei the species has been taken frequently in lowland dipterocarp forest but also in upper montane forest at 1600m on Bukit Retak.
The only specimen taken on the Mulu survey was in upper montane forest at a similar altitude on G. Mulu.
