Perixera ochraria Swinhoe comb. n.
Anisodes ochraria Swinhoe, 1902, Trans. ent. Soc. Lond., 1902: 664.
Diagnosis
Both this and the next species have a yellowish fawn ground colour, not quite as bright as in the argyromma group, and with the hindwing discal spot small, yellowish, ringed brown, never blackened. All these yellowish species treated early in the sequence have the costa and antennal shafts brown. Genitalic examination is necessary to distinguish the two as described below.
Taxonomic Notes
There are coremata on the fourth sternite, the longest element of which terminates in a structure similar to that in argyromma but much shorter and broader, and at the base of the genitalia. The aedeagus is only weakly convolute but this extends to the ductus ejaculatorius. The dorsal part of the tegumen is broadly serrate. The hind-tibia is of normal length, but there is a scale tuft on the femur.
