Diagnosis

This species is paler, slightly more variegated than the previous three. The hindwing is distinguished by a very large black discal spot as in some variants of P. monetaria Guenée, but the paler, variegated facies and conspicuously pale forewing discal spot distinguish it.

Geographical Range

Borneo.

Habitat Preference

The species has only been recorded from G. Kinabalu. Recent material (Holloway, 1976) was all from 1930m.
