Diagnosis

See Ilema chalana Moore and Ilema altichalana sp. n . This is the smallest Bornean species.

Geographical Range

Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.

Habitat Preference

Only one specimen has been taken in recent surveys, in dipterocarp forest at 150m on G. Mulu. Older material is also from the lowlands, e.g. from Bidi in Sarawak.
