Enispa elataria Hampson
Micraeschus albinellus Hampson, 1896, Fauna Br. India, Moths, 4: 521.
Diagnosis
This is a very small, delicate species with long marginal fringes to the wings. The forewing is relatively narrow. The ground colour is white. The distal margins are a dark vinous brown with an irregular, more variegated basal boundary. This colour is also found on the tips of the more ochreous fringe scales and there is some broken fasciation more basally on each wing, the forewing with an oblique broken band from the medial part of the costa to the tornus. The costa is also tinged more ochreous.
Taxonomic note
The affinities of this species are unclear, and the material available is in a delicate condition. It may prove to be better placed with the Araeopteroninae (p. 76).
