Diagnosis
The wings are dark grey, finely fasciated darker as illustrated, the hindwing with a distinct discal mark.
There is a black and white mark associated with the more posterior hindwing tail.
Taxonomic Notes
The type of indignaria (UM Oxford) is worn and damaged, but shows the diagnostic facies features noted in fucina.
Geographical range
New Guinea, Borneo.
Habitat preference
The only Bornean specimen, the holotype of fucina, is from the southern, low-lying island of Pulo Laut.
