Dysaethria albolilacina Holloway sp. n.
Diagnosis
♂♀ 10-11mm.
The facies is of the conflictaria/lilacina type, but the forewing is speckled grey-brown on white, with the postmedial fascia and submarginal zone strongly shaded.
The hindwing is strikingly contrasted between the white anterior half and the much darker, grey posterior half.
The male genitalia have the uncus unequally quadrifid (the outer processes are probably homologous with the prongs of the previous two species), and highly complex valves and transtillar bridge as illustrated: there is a strong hair pencil arising from a convolute structure near the valve base, and a tongue-like flap subapically just below the much narrower apical portion of the valve.
The aedeagus vesica has a long, slender cornutus.
