Dysaethria danum Holloway sp. n.

♂ 6mm.

The smallest species of Dysaethria in Borneo, danum has grey wings and facies similar to that of lilacina, though lacking the white flecks associated with the posterior hindwing tail.

The male genitalia are highly distinctive.

The uncus is bifid as in lilacina, though the processes are shorter, broader.

The setal area of the sacculus is more angular, and the tuft of hair setae at the centre of the valve is stronger and closer to the costa.

The aedeagus has at its apex a curled spine, distally bifid.
