Diagnosis

The species is the same size as meritaria but has a more regular sequence of faint markings in the postmedial as in orestias.

Geographical range

Sulawesi, Borneo, New Guinea, Bismarcks, Solomons.

Habitat preference

Two specimens were taken at Semengok, a lowland forested locality near Kuching in Sarawak.
