Diagnosis
This and the next species are very similar in their strong green facies and red and white beading to the wings. C. cedilla is a brighter green with the tornal process into the medial area from the beading more digitate, less triangular, with the white part less clouded centrally with red.
The costal process from the beading is also more digitate.
The male genitalia are diagnostic.
Geographical range
New Guinea, Queensland, S. Moluccas, Sulawesi, Philippines, Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat preference
The species is rare, all four recent specimens being from primary forest in the lowlands.
