Diagnosis
The size is intermediate between that of laesaria and orestias. The postmedials are more irregular in size as in laesaria, but the white component predominates, rather than the red.
Geographical range
Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference
The three specimens taken in recent surveys are from 300m, 500m and 900m in forest, the last being lower montane forest on limestone.
