Diagnosis
The angled forewing margin, pale cream ground colour and prominent rows of marginal dark brown dots are distinctive. Other fasciation and marking, apart from the discal lunules, is faint.
Geographical Range
N.E. Himalaya, S.E. Asia, Sundaland, Sulawesi, Seram, New Guinea.
Habitat Preference
is mostly found in lowland forest, but occurs less frequently to as high as 1930m.
Biology
The larva has been recorded (unpublished FRIM records) from Castanopsis (Fagaceae).
