Diagnosis

Sato (2005a) reviewed the distinction of A. pammicra and A. eupithecioides. The latter is slightly larger, yellower, and with more prominent dark discal spots and forewing marginal patches. The male genitalia have the uncus apex more blunt. The ampullate processes at the centre of the valve are strongly upcurved, rather than triangular and directed at the ventral margin.

Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Philippines, Sulawesi.

Habitat Preference

Bornean material listed is a male from Kundasang on the slopes of G. Kinabalu.
