Tamba ionomera Hampson, 1926, Descr. Gen. Spec. Noctuinae, p. 549.

Diagnosis

This is one of the larger species, having a pale fawn ground colour to the wings, with strong, double postmedial fasciae that separate off darker mauve and brown marginal areas except for elliptical zones of the ground colour at each tornus. The forewing postmedial is strongly angled.
