Diagnosis

See the previous species. The forewing submarginal is only slightly angled and may be conspicuously broad and pale in some specimens. The hindwing margin is continuously pale over the apical part.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

This is a montane species, common at around 1780m on G. Mulu and at around 2000m on G. Kinabalu, but occurs from 1200m to 2600m.
