Pangrapta metagona Walker
Thermesia metagona Walker, 1864, J. Linn. Soc. (Zool.), 7: 185.
Diagnosis
See holophaeaabove and the two species below. The ground colour of this and the next three species is browner, but with a slightly bluish tint to the postmedial, particularly in the paler central line separating the two dark components. This double fascia on the hindwing is closely associated with the zig-zag submarginal in metagonaand the next two species, but slightly more separated in the pannosa Moore group, where it also tends to diverge away from it near the tornus due to the diagnostic curvature of the double fascia. In pannosa and allies there is a diffusely paler lens on the costa of the forewing that straddles across the postmedial at that point, rendered conspicuous by the generally darker, richer brown ground; it is evident to a lesser extent in metagona and in the next two species.
