Diagnosis

The forewing is characterised by a paler grey-brown, broad, transverse medial band between the reniform and the antemedial, and by a virtually uniform distal third of the wing, apart from a few darker submarginal flecks. The hindwing has a series of white lunules and dentate marks of various sizes associated with the submarginal; this series is broken by dark brown breaking through from basal to it and extending obliquely back to the margin at about M3.
