Diagnosis

This species resembles the next four in general facies but has a diagnostic dark brown marginal patch at, and restricted to, the angle at the centre of the forewing margin.

It is best distinguished on genitalic features.

In the male (illustrated by Sommerer (1995))the spine on the valve costa is distinctly subapical.

In the female there are three rows of spines in the bursa, one long and two short ones, the latter basal and distal, together covering the length of the long one.

Geographical range

Sumatra, Singapore, Borneo.

Habitat preference

The only Bornean specimen seen is from Bidi in the lowlands of Sarawak.
