Diagnosis

Externally this species resembles tripunctaria but has a narrower postmedial white band of more even width and a narrower longitudinal white mark posterior to the cell on the forewing; the hindwing border stops short of the tornus at CuA2.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

The only specimen was taken flying by day near Kampong Kiau (1000m) at the foot of G. Kinabalu.
