Lophoruza viridicara Holloway
♂♂ 12-13mm. The facies is very close to that of dasycara except the basal edges of the postmedial fasciae are straighter, more angular, and the paler central component of the fasciae is less broken. These fasciae, the costal band of the forewing, the thorax and the base of the hindwing are greenish as in dasycara but of a slightly brighter tone. The male genitalia are relatively smaller than in dasycara but the valves have similar ornamentation. However, the costal spine is much shorter and the saccular process is longer, the apex of the latter coming much closer to the apex of the cucullus than in dasycara.
