Diagnosis and taxonomic notes

This and Gogana cottrillii Holloway have very similar males, and the latter is associated with females that show some similarities of pattern with it, particularly in the dark markings towards the margin of the forewing.

The female of ossicolor is likely to be similar.

Geographical range

Borneo.

Habitat preference

Only the holotype is known, taken in the Poeh (Poi) region of Sarawak.
