Geographical Range

Borneo (material from Java noted by Holloway (1976) is probably referable to bhurmitra or E. susceptaria Walker).

Habitat Preference

The species is characteristic of upper montane forest, most records being from above 1500m. The highest is from 2110m on G. Kinabalu.
