Diagnosis
The ground colour of the wings is creamy white, the rather irregular fasciation rich brown. The discal spots are enlarged, extended by a shaded zone in the centre of the wings between the postmedial and submarginal fasciae. The aedeagus vesica has a cornutus, blunt-ended, and constricted subapically.
Geographical Range
Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat Preference
This is the rarest of the four Bornean species but found in forested localities over a wide range of altitude: in hill dipterocarp forest between 150m and 300m on G. Mulu and in the Ulu Temburong of Brunei; at 900m in lower montane forest of Gunung Api; at 1465m in montane forest on Bukit Retak; at 1620m on G. Kinabalu.
