Diagnosis
The forewing costa is slightly angled at one-quarter in males, and darkened within the border there. The border is an ‘old gold’ type of yellow, with a regularly crenulate inner border on the distal margin. The forewing has a hair tuft under the dorsum and the hindwing has a fold and hair scales on the costa, and a hair pencil posterior to the cell. The male antennae are ciliate, and the genitalia have the valves broad centrally but otherwise of the simple, long, tapering type.
