Diagnosis

The ground colour is entirely white (the hindwings tend to be pinkish in similar species), and the fasciae fine, red, obliquely curved in the male and straighter in the female. The female has three red discal dots, but only two are evident in the male, the position of the most distal one being covered by the costal fringe of white scales.
