Cyana conclusa Walker

Diagnosis

The species is similar in facies to the next three (double discal spot in male, single in female) but can be distinguished by the rather M-shaped postmedial in both sexes (seen to some extent also in maiae sp. n .) and the frequently dentate centre to the inner margin of the black line of the antemedial. The male has an acute angle to the forewing margin just posterior to the apex. In males, the black delineation of the forewing fasciae can be weak to absent (e.g. in the holotype). The male genitalia have a ventral spur to the dorsal part of the valve, seen also in the externally similar javanica Butler (see Roepke, [1946a]), from which it is distinguished by a cluster of spines in the aedeagus vesica; javanica has a single angle to the postmedial.
