Cruxoruza geometrica Holloway sp. n.

♂ (paratype)

♂♂, ♀♀ 10-11mm. The facies shows some similarities with both the type species and Z. fissifascia (see p. 102), and the ground colour is as in the latter. On all wings the postmedials are fine, white, transverse and more or less straight, joined to a white streak that extends along M2 to the margin and has, from its centre, an oblique white line that runs from it to where the postmedial joins the costa on the hindwing and the pale costal streak on the forewing. The forewing costal streak arises from the dorsum subbasally and converges on the costa as it runs straight to the apex (in fissifascia the equivalent line diverges from the costa as it runs from the base of the wing to the position of M2 on the margin). The submarginals are finely paler, but irregular in course and barely evident. In the male genitalia the saccus is rounded rather than excavate, and the valves are more robust, with a massive and irregular central process. The female genitalia have the ostium flanked by slightly doubled pockets, in a much more extensive manner than in decorata. The corpus bursae is larger and more robust than in decorata.
