Diagnosis

The forewing facies is similar to that of the previous two species except the area basal to the black marginal zone is more variegated with more irregular transverse fasciation and shading of vinous brown. The hindwings are dark grey in both sexes. Males have backwardly directed hair pencils on each side of the thorax.
