Diagnosis
The wings are a dull medium brown with pale, linear postmedials, that on the forewing straight, that on the hindwing gently curved. The forewing has a black discal lunule and orbicular dot.
Taxonomic note
The facies of pulla shows some affinity to that of B. parallela Leech (China, Taiwan), particularly in the shape of the black reniform crescent on the forewing. However, the holotype differs from parallela in lacking an orbicular spot on the hindwing underside and having a shallowly curved flap on the underside of the forewing costa running from a quarter to two-thirds. The features of the male genitalia are generally as in Bertula
Geographical range
Borneo.
Habitat preference
Only the holotype has been seen, a male without altitude data from G. Kinabalu.
