Ataboruza brunei Holloway sp. n.

♂ (holotype)

♂, ♀♀ 6-7mm. The facies is generally similar to lauta, but the reddish areas have a slightly more vinous tint. The pale costal zone of the forewing is more tapered and less truncated near the apex, and has a blackish irroration not seen in lauta. The forewing postmedial is more clearly defined with white, slightly less sinuous, and the area between it and the margin is more distinctly fasciated, the darker component of the submarginal being expanded into a small spot subdorsally. This marginal area is more variegated in the male. The male genitalia have the valves broader and shorter than in lauta, with a strong costal spine and a triangular saccular process half the length. The uncus has a slight kink at two thirds. The saccus is much more broadly biangular than in lauta. The female genitalia are similar to those of lauta, but with a more definite coil distally in the neck of the corpus bursae.
