It was not possible to assign the following species confidently to any of the preceding genera, so they are retained for the time being in the old broad concept of Euproctis Hübner. A narrow definition of Euproctis is provided by Maes (1984a, b). Some commentary on characteristics will be included in a taxonomic note for each.
