Geographical Range

Borneo, S. Burma, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Philippines (Mindanao).

Habitat Preference

This is a frequently encountered species in lowland rain forest, and extends also up to about 1200m. In forest near the Danum Valley Field Centre, the species was much commoner in samples made in the understorey than in those made in the canopy (S.J. Willott, pers. comm.).
