Diagnosis

♂♂ 12-13mm, ♀ 14mm.

This species belongs to the albonotata group with generally similar facies except the ground colour is pale brown and the antemedial, postmedial and submarginal fasciae are linear rather than punctate.

The underside is a uniform pale brown.

The male genitalia differ from those of albonotata, microcrocea and the related obscura Watson (Java, Bali, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia) in the expanded bases to the processes of the uncus and the shape of the valves, tapered over the distal half.
