“Tigrioides” leucanioides Walker

Diagnosis
The blackish delineation of the forewing veins on a straw ground colour is diagnostic. The thorax has black spots as in Tigrioides puncticollis Butler. See the generic account for a comment on placement.
Geographical range
S. Burma, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference
This is a lowland forest species, generally infrequent, but was taken in abundance in alluvial forest during the Mulu survey. It also occurs rarely in lower montane forest at around 1000m.
