Diagnosis
See the generic description. Males are entirely pale orange-yellow. Females have a deeper forewing colour and a grey hindwing with yellow fringes; below, both wings are grey with yellow margins. The radial sector branching system of the forewing is diagnostic in the genus and in comparison to Eilema species with similar male coloration.
Geographical range
Borneo, Java.
Habitat preference
The only Bornean specimens seen are the type of reversa, collected by A.R. Wallace in Sarawak, most probably in the lowlands, and a female from 1000m (lower montane forest; slide 2685) on G. Mulu.
