Tampea sp. 2053 Holloway

Tampea reversa Walker sensu Holloway, 1976: 2.

Image of [object Object] Holloway ♂

A male similar in facies to Tampea nodosa Holloway but larger (12mm) may represent a further species in this genus but is somewhat damaged, the head missing. The male abdomen and genitalia are similar to those of nodosa, but the valve apex is more rounded, broader, the costal spines much reduced. The uncus is deeper centrally. The specimen was taken at 1930m on G. Kinabalu.
