♂ (paratype)

Sysstema pauxilloides Holloway sp. n.

♂♀ 9-10mm. In facies this species resembles the N.E. Burmese S. pauxilla Prout, being densely suffused with dull brown on pale grey, apart from an indistinct postmedial bar on the forewing. The forewing discal dot is darker than the rest of the wing, that of the hindwing only weakly so. The abdominal processes and the genitalia of the male resemble those of pauxilla, but the uncus is truncated, the gnathus more broadly and deeply bibbed, the costal process to the valve rounded rather than triangular, and the furca processes are much larger.
