Diagnosis

The basal zone of the forewing is almost entirely fawn in some specimens.
The female forewings are usually paler grey-green than in the male, the submarginal dark dots more prominent.
The species is unique amongst Bornean congeners in having a pair of well developed coremata on the male eighth sternite.
Geographical range
N.E. Himalaya, Thailand, Sundaland and eastwards to New Guinea.
Habitat preference
The species is uncommon in Borneo, taken in a variety of lowland localities: Labi and Telisai in Brunei; the Segama R. in Sabah; Badong in Sarawak.
Two specimens were taken in upper montane forest at 1600m on Bukit Retak, Brunei.
