Scaptesyle sororigena Holloway sp. n.
♂♂ 6-7mm.
This species is slightly smaller than aurigena, with the apical and basal areas of the forewing darker, the basal one relatively smaller with a less oblique distal edge. The male genitalia have the saccular process less robust and not so strongly flexed centrally, but flexed at one third and two thirds. The aedeagus is characterised by two unequal spines at its apex.

Borneo.
Habitat preference
Both specimens were taken in lowland dipterocarp forest.
